Hotkey Manager

Background

Hotkeys are those key combinations that you can press in order to trigger various actions on your computer. Windows comes with a bunch of those default hotkeys and various applications can add their own. In addition, some tools allow associating hotkeys with all sorts of very useful actions; those are what we call hotkey utilities or managers.

Recommendation

Not finding any tool we really liked we decided to build our own at Kerkia. Signo is the outcome of this and it allows defining not only hotkeys but also textkeys (suite of keys pressed) that can trigger many sorts of user actions including text replacement, text pasting, html pasting, launching applications, opening web sites, opening files, optimizing RAM used by applications, multiple screen capture possibilities, windows actions as shown in the screenshot, etc. It also offers various ways of accessing those, from the tray from any window with Ctrl-Alt-Left Click, from hotkeys or from textkeys where applicable.
