Background

The Internet Explorer (IE) browser is a great application, which does support extensions although there are few of those. Those are 3rd party applications that any developer can implement, and they are all available for free to anybody willing to use them. They can be added to IE via an installer and can be managed from IE normally, though the whole process is a lot more tedious than with Firefox or Chrome.

IE is nevertheless a strong web browser and many features it lacks such as ad blocking our mouse gesture can actually be added with a very complete extension.

Recommendations

If you are an IE user this probably means you don’t want to spend/waste a lot of time looking for extensions to make your browser useful to you. There is one extension you really should install however and this is IE7Pro.
