Understanding what takes space on your hard drive can be difficult, and become even frustrating when you need to do some clean up and are unsure where to start.

Recommendation

SequoiaView is a very nice utility that has been developed by the Eindhoven university of technology, and which represents graphically the content of your hard drive. It makes it very fast and easy to identify folders and files that do take a lot of space on your disk.
