Background

At the end of the year, it is time to make calendars for the New Year to come. And it can be nice to make your own, from the photos you have been taking throughout the year. There are several web-based software tools that allow you doing so, but most are tied to only printing through some paid service.

Recommendations

We recommend a desktop tool to produce your own calendar, and this tool is called TKexe Kalendar. While the name and the web site of the tool are in German, the tool does exist in English as well as in several other languages (see download page). This comes with several nice templates though the tool is flexible enough that you can create your own structure and graphical effects in your calendar.
